Integrated Christian Middle School "Uczeń"

The Doctrinal Position of the schools

Because of the ecumenical character of the school, it is necessary to establish the so-called School Doctrine, which takes into account the basic elements of faith, which are common to all Christian denominations.

We believe that:

  1. The Bible is the word of God, and an authority on matters of life and faith. The Scriptures are influenced by the God who inspired the selected people who wrote it.
  2. There is only one true, living, eternal God in the Holy Trinity.
  3. God is the Creator and His sovereign power is evident in God's care for all of creation and the work of redemption.
  4. Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary. His sinless life, atoning death on the cross and resurrection took place in order to satisfy God's righteousness, to reveal God to man and to save him.
  5. The Holy Spirit is a person ubiquitous throughout eternity. Its role is to convince the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit is involved in the work of salvation, as well as the building of the Church.
  6. God created the angels to serve and worship him. Some of them, led by Satan, rebelled against God and are now opposed to the plans and intentions of God.
  7. God created man in his image and likeness, man had a personal relationship with him and have dominion over the earth. The initial sinlessness of mankind was lost during the fall - the conscious opposition the revealed will of God - everyone, apart from the one exception, which is Jesus Christ, is born with a sinful nature.
  8. Salvation and justification are only possible through God's grace and through personal faith in Jesus Christ. The redemption of man, made possible by the sacrifice of Christ, provides to those who trust in him, the forgiveness of sins, a full reconciliation with God and inclusion in the family of God, as His children.
  9. The church is a spiritual organism made up of people who believed in God and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The head of the Church is Christ. The purpose of the Church is to worship God and build His kingdom on earth.
  10. Christ will return to earth to judge the living and the dead - the saved will attain eternal life with God, and those not saved, eternal separation from God.
